From organizing the internet to mapping the world, Google always aimed to build technology that is useful to real people in real situations. With the launch of Google Assistant, now all of Google's tools and technology is available at the tip of your tongue, where you want it, when you want it.
This is the story we helped share at CES 2019: that the Google Assistant is the most helpful assistant for your everyday life.

On the Go
In this 35' interactive diorama, users explore how Google Assistant can help while they’re on the go. In various vignettes, users see how Assistant can perform common everyday tasks, like booking a Lyft or checking into a flight, or booking a hotel room.

Users engage directly with a Pixel device with their voice to have a real-time interaction with Assistant. Once Assistant completes the task, the users see a physical reaction in the city diorama based on the initial query. These interactions include animatronics and scenic lighting.

I designed all 25 custom illustrative components in this 35' diorama. I helped concept the different interactions for each query and worked with the engineers to design around the different mechanical gears, LED lights, and LCD screens. I also created the production ready file, separating each individual layer for laser cutting.
